Who am I?
I didn’t come from marketing. I came from a classroom.
I’m Maria: mom of two girls, teacher by training, freelancer by necessity and strategist by obsession. My marketing career started as a content writer working in the hours my daughters were asleep, and it grew into ScaleHaus: a founder-led agency building personal brands and running Meta Ads for businesses across two continents.
Teaching taught me something most marketers never learn: nobody remembers information, everybody remembers a story. That’s why every brand I build and every campaign I run starts with the story your ideal client needs to hear before they’ll trust you with their money.
Seven years in, I’ve gone from writing captions to architecting full revenue systems (personal branding, performance ads, Shopify stores, automations) and coaching hundreds of women to build the same skills I built at my kitchen table.

The classroom years
Teacher first, always
Before ads, I taught. I learned to hold attention, explain the complicated simply and meet people where they are: the exact skills that would later make my campaigns convert.
The beginning
A content writer between nap times
With two little girls and no spare hours, I started writing content for other businesses. Every word had to earn its place. I didn’t have time for words that didn’t work.
The turning point
My first ad account
The first time I opened Meta Ads Manager, everything clicked: great stories were being wasted on bad targeting, and great targeting was being wasted on stories nobody felt. I decided to master both.
The agency years
ScaleHaus is born
What started as freelancing became an agency serving bedding brands, toy companies, skincare labels, real estate offices and restaurants across Australia and Pakistan, with AI woven into every workflow before it was fashionable.
Today
Building brands, and the women who build them
Now I split my time between growing client businesses worldwide and coaching moms, housewives and career-changers to earn from Meta Ads the way I did: from home, on their own terms.
